Privacy Policy

Phantom Arcades Inc. ("we", "us") builds custom arcade machines in Valrico, Florida. This policy explains what information this website handles and what we do with it.

Information you choose to send us

This site has no user accounts. Other than the analytics cookies described below, it sets no cookies of its own. The personal information we collect is what you choose to send us — by email or by phone. That is typically your name, your contact details, and whatever you tell us about the machine you want. We use it to answer you, prepare quotes, and build and deliver what you order. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Information processed automatically

Like almost every website, loading our pages involves some technical processing even if you never contact us. Our site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which processes standard server logs (including IP addresses) to deliver and secure the site. Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google and your IP address is visible to Google in that request; Google handles that data under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or keep this technical data ourselves.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move around the site, so we know which machines and pages are worth the effort. It sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit from the next, and it reports pages viewed, roughly where in the world you are, and whether you arrived from a search, a link or an advert. It does not tell us who you are, and we do not combine it with anything you send us. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy, and you can opt out for every site using Google's browser add-on.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are actually used, which tells us where a layout confuses people. It sets cookies in your browser and records a playback of your visit: the pages you saw, where you moved, scrolled, tapped and clicked, and your screen size, browser and rough location. Clarity masks the text you type, so what you enter into a form is not captured in the recording; the form itself is delivered to us separately by email as described above. We do not use it to identify you. Microsoft processes that data under its privacy statement, and you can opt out for every site that uses Clarity at clarity.microsoft.com/terms.

Who else touches your information

If you become a customer, your billing details are handled through our invoicing provider (Intuit QuickBooks), and your name, address and phone number are shared with the carrier or courier when a machine is delivered. We share information with service providers like these only so the business can function, and otherwise only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are generally deleted within a year. Order and invoice records are kept for up to seven years to meet tax and legal obligations, and cannot be deleted during that time.

Your choices

Email dennis@phantomarcades.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will verify that the request really comes from you before acting on it, and we aim to respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, this section explains what we do with it. You never have to receive texts to buy an arcade from us.

What we collect

Your mobile phone number, your name if you give it, and a record of whether you opted in, when, and whether you have since opted out. We also keep basic delivery information such as whether a message was delivered and whether you replied.

How you opt in

We only text people who have asked us to. You opt in by entering your mobile number on a form on this website and ticking the box that asks to receive text messages, by texting us first, or by telling us in writing. Consent is never a condition of buying anything. You must be 18 or over.

What we send and how often

Build updates, delivery scheduling, replies to your enquiry, and occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help, or contact us on (813) 419-7979 or dennis@phantomarcades.com.

Who we share it with

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We use a messaging provider to deliver the messages on our behalf, and mobile carriers to carry them. They may only use your number to deliver our messages to you.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes and contact
