Custom arcade cabinet artwork
Every Phantom is wrapped in arcade artwork made for the person who ordered it. It is designed one-on-one with Dennis, printed in-house in Valrico, Florida, and applied by hand over the whole cabinet.
We wrap the whole arcade, not just the control panel
The industry standard is to wrap the control panel and leave it there. That is the one surface a player actually touches, so it is the one surface most builders bother to protect. It also means the artwork stops where the cabinet starts.
Phantom wraps every panel. The artwork below is a single cabinet's worth of arcade graphics, laid out flat before any of it goes on the wood: both side panels, the marquee, the bezel, the control panel and the kick panel, drawn as one piece so it lines up once it is applied. A whole-cabinet gaming wrap means the side art, the marquee and the bezel are all part of the same picture rather than three separate decisions.

What it is printed on
Artwork starts as thick air-release vinyl in a matte finish. Air-release means the adhesive carries fine channels that let trapped air escape as the vinyl is worked down, which is what prevents the bubbles you see on a cabinet that was covered in a hurry.
Every print is then sealed under a thick polycarbonate matte laminate. That layer is what takes the wear: sleeves, rings, belt buckles and years of hands. Artwork that is stapled or stickered on instead will lift and fade at the edges. Wrapped and sealed artwork does not.
The arcade printing and the application both happen in-house in Valrico. Nothing is sent out to a trade printer, which is why a change to the artwork is a conversation rather than a re-order.
How the artwork gets made
There is no form to fill in and no theme number to pick. The design is worked out one-on-one with Dennis, and it usually starts from something small: a theme, a colour, a family name, a favourite game, or the one thing you definitely do not want on it.
If you would rather not start from a blank page, thirteen finished designs are included at no extra cost and can be seen in the 3D designer. A fully custom piece, drawn for your cabinet alone, is $350.
