Daphne

What is Daphne?

Daphne is a laserdisc arcade emulator, named after Princess Daphne from Dragon’s Lair. Laserdisc arcade games played animation or video from a disc and asked you to hit the right move at the right moment. Dragon’s Lair (1983), animated by Don Bluth, started the craze; Space Ace came from the same team, and Stern’s Cliff Hanger was built from Lupin III anime footage.

How Daphne games play on a Phantom

All 17 titles are in Arcade Gamer, the base package in every Phantom, so every cabinet plays them.
