The story
His second build. His most powerful yet.
When Samoa Joe came back to Phantom Arcades for his second custom arcade, the goal wasn’t to recreate what had already been done. This machine needed to feel like an evolution — bigger in attitude, darker in tone, and built around the kind of raw power that has always defined Samoa Joe.
He named the new arcade The Temple Of Power Game 2.0.
From the artwork alone, the machine feels less like a traditional arcade and more like something pulled from a futuristic war temple. The cabinet is covered in towering armored warriors, mechanical skulls, fire, heavy machinery, and glowing circuitry. Deep blacks and scorched metallic tones form the foundation of the artwork, while intense orange flames, electric blues, neon greens, and vivid magentas cut through the darkness.
Across the side panels, massive cybernetic soldiers stand among industrial machinery and burning environments, giving the cabinet a sense of scale and overwhelming force.
The marquee and control-panel graphics proudly carry the Temple Of The Power Game name in bright neon lettering, creating a striking contrast against the darker imagery surrounding it.
The kick panel takes the idea of power literally. A massive futuristic energy system dominates the artwork, with glowing electrical towers surrounding a central power core as electricity erupts throughout the scene.
This isn’t simply another arcade with a new graphic package. It’s the next version of his original idea — a new Temple built with even more presence, more energy, and an unmistakably powerful identity.
The Temple Of Power Game 2.0 doesn’t just sit in a room. It looks like it was built to take it over.
