The story
A battle worth fighting.
When Mike “The Situation” reached out to Phantom Arcades about creating a custom machine for Archangels Centers, the purpose behind the build made it immediately special.
Life inside a rehabilitation center can sometimes feel disconnected from the familiar interests, routines and experiences people enjoy. Mike wanted the arcade to help bridge that distance - giving residents something recognizable, positive and fun to look forward to during their time at the center.
The machine will bring decades of gaming together in one place, offering moments of escape while encouraging people to gather, play and enjoy one another's company. Whether someone is rediscovering a favorite childhood game or joining a friendly competition, the arcade will create opportunities for laughter, connection and community.
The artwork carries an even deeper meaning. Inspired by Michael the Archangel, the cabinet depicts a powerful battle against darkness and adversity. It represents the strength, determination and unwavering will needed to confront life's greatest obstacles - and the belief that no battle is beyond overcoming.
Every detail of the design reinforces that message: stand strong, keep fighting and never lose sight of what is waiting on the other side.
The result is more than an arcade. It is a symbol of resilience, a source of familiar joy and a place where people can come together as they continue moving forward.
