The story
AJ McLean's Sneaker Arcade
When AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys came to Phantom Arcades, we knew his machine needed to be just as original and unmistakable as he is.
AJ's love of gaming was only part of the inspiration. His passion for sneaker culture became the heart of the design, transforming the arcade into a bright, vibrant celebration of color, music, gaming and personal style.
We created custom sneaker-themed artwork and built four display cubbies directly into the cabinet, giving AJ a place to showcase some of his favorite pairs. Loaded with more than 20,000 games, the finished machine brought decades of arcade and console history together in one completely personalized build.
The result was more than a game machine. It was a functional piece of art—created specifically for AJ, his home and the things he loves most.
We call it the Sneaker Arcade. Another one-of-a-kind vision brought to life by Phantom Arcades.
